Wednesday Weigh-In Part 3

OK this is kinda sad, but here goes:

Original Weight: 343lbs
Last Week: 339lbs
This Week: 338lbs
One Week Loss: 1 pound
Total Loss: 5 Pounds


I guess that's not so bad. Like I said before, I need to start exercising and doing some actually running/walking before I see big results, but 5 pounds isn't too shabby either. Right?

Not bad at all. Keep in mind that as you begin to exercise, muscle weighs more than fat, so sometimes the scale isn't a great way to keep up with fat loss as you might be gaining muscle. good luck with the upcoming holidays too!!! They've always been my downfall.

Thank you for your encouraging words. I know the scale isn't the best of judges, but it is a motivation too. And I know 5 pounds is nothing to take lightly. I'm proud of the work I've done so far, but I know there's a long way to go.

I'm not too worried about the holidays, though. I'm not much of a sweets eater which is the biggest temptation for most, i think, during this season.

My biggest temtation is going out to eat and eating all the things I've grown to love ("food addiction"). This is a year round problem for me.

Good luck to you, though, over the holidays. I'm sure its fine to cheat a little as long as you go back to eating well. You gotta enjoy the seasons somehow.
